Live performances
A 1989 peformance at the Courtenay Music Festival. Timothy Vernon, conductor
When this 10-CD/SACD album of the complete Mozart Sonatas was released, it was priced strictly for a high-end market. It still is, to be honest. Best piano sound I’ve ever heard. Here’s the final sonata he wrote.
Recorded live in 2010 at Le Petit Trianon in San Jose. Twenty four sonatas were recorded, and checking here will get you to them as they’re released.

Recorded Performances
Formerly known as his 9th sonata, scholars now believe it preceded the darker A minor sonata, KV. 310, so the two now generally have their numbers switched. Also switched is the usual order of the two main themes in the first movement's Recapitulation. As a result, the movement flows unimpeded like a sparkling mountain stream. Part of a 10-CD/SACD album of the complete Mozart Sonatas, Best recorded piano sound I’ve heard. I kinda like the performance too.
